my Eugène Atget moment

It wasn't deliberate, in fact I hadn't thought of Atget - or any other photographer - when I captured these images.

Walking through a park and looking for a picture - it's one of those needle in a haystack situations. It's easy to snap and click at everything but I was trained with film cameras and I restrain myself from over-shooting a scene.

Today's photo shoot - I don't take pictures everyday - was exciting, I had a sense of expectation. I can't recall when I was as thrilled with the results as I am with these. Sometimes things seem to balance or be in harmony.

Photos are magical - I'm certain Atget was well aware of that.
